ISS-USA Welcomes Emergency Disaster Case Management Team
International Social Service-USA (ISS-USA) extends a warm welcome to our newly formed Emergency Disaster Case Management Team!
The ISS-USA Emergency Disaster Case Management Team was formed with a grant from the Office of Human Services Emergency Preparedness and Response (OHSEPR). The team’s goal is to combine the best practices of repatriation assistance and other case management to provide exceptional care to citizens in the United States. The team will provide OHSEPR staff with emergency and non-emergency repatriation case management training materials and develop a database of case management volunteers.
Currently, the team has developed a brief “Welcome to ISS-USA” PowerPoint that provides an overview of the ISS-USA repatriation program. Other projects include additional informational videos, training vignettes, identifying best practices for repatriation case coordination training, and hosting a Case Management Conference in the Fall of 2020.
The team members joining ISS-USA are Tom Enokian (Program Manager), Lisa Punter (Independent Training Consultant), Lacie Thomas (Program Assistant), and Wayne Viener (Independent Database Consultant).
