Individual Gift Planning

International Social Service-United States of America Branch, Inc. (ISS-USA) is an international social work agency. Its Geneva-based General Secretariat serves as the hub for a worldwide network of more than 150 national units in countries spanning six continents.

The mission of ISS-USA is to improve the lives of children, adults and families affected by migration and international and humanitarian crises by providing high quality social services, promoting advances in service and knowledge, and advocating for laws and policies that guarantee their rights and ensure their protections. To this end, ISS-USA welcomes your support for its diverse programs. Because ISS-USA is a recognized public charity, your gift qualifies as charitable deduction.

There are many ways to make an individual gift to ISS-USA,

  • cash,
  • securities or other personal assets,
  • planned gifts that benefit your financial and tax situation today while supporting ISS-USA in the future,
  • special gifts to ISS-USA, honoring a person or celebrating an occasion with memorial or commemorative gifts, or
  • making an endowment to the Agency.  In certain cases, endowed gifts may be named, recognizing your close association with the Agency. Matching gifts expand the impact of your donation when you work for a company that will match charitable contributions.
  • Gifts of objects.

Personal gifts to ISS-USA can provide you with tax benefits and income for life. Endowed gifts support ISS-USA in perpetuity and provide you with long-term recognition.

In addition to gifts that are unrestricted in use, you may specify that your gift be directed to a specific ISS-USA program or activity.  For additional information on making a gift for a specific purpose, or based on your individual preference, ISS-USA development officers are available to assist you in planning the gift that is appropriate to your situation.

All inquiries regarding gifts to ISS-USA will be considered completely confidential.  For further information, please contact the Executive Director.

Here you will find general information about the many options you have to make a contribution to ISS-USA.
